ACT (AIDS Committee of Toronto):
Since 1983 the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) has been providing information, as well as practical, emotional and social support services to men, women and youth living with HIV/AIDS in Toronto. ACT also helps people with HIV/AIDS to re-enter the work force. With over 16,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Toronto, and two new HIV infections every day, HIV/AIDS is not over. 25 years after AIDS appeared in Toronto, there is still no vaccine and no cure. AIDS is still fatal. Until a cure is found, ACT fills a unique and vital leadership role here in Toronto
FASHION CARES:
Fashion Cares is Canada’s largest and most spectacular gala. A project of the local and international fashion and design industries, Fashion Cares has enjoyed the support of Canada’s most progressive and successful corporations, loyal fashion patrons and devoted volunteers. Your generous support of Fashion Cares makes a vital difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
